Weekly Garden Tip
Looking for an edible that adds texture to your garden? Consider einkorn! Einkorn is a German word that means ‘one kernel’ and is the name of a type of hulled wheat thought to be one of the first plants ever cultivated. Yields for Einkorn are generally much lower than other wheats.
That being said, its upright growth habits and color make for a stunning addition to your garden.

Dear Arti:
Question: I enjoyed the Enjoy Your Harvest series last year! But I thought the workshop was going to be about how to grow your own garden. I’ve never done that before, so I was hoping to learn how (plus tips about what to do for specific garden plants). If you ever do a webinar about that, I would love to attend it! Thank you! 🙂 – Lori B.
Answer: Hi Lori,
So glad you liked the Enjoy Your Harvest Workshop Series! We do have ‘how to garden’ events. In fact, we have one coming up! It’s the Joyful Gardener Docuseries. The docuseries is an 8-episode series that shows you how to create a successful garden, step-by-step, AND how to avoid overwhelm so you can stay in your garden joy all season long. You can register for the docuseries HERE.
Overwhelm can creep in and keep you from getting things done in the garden. One thing leads to another and you fall even MORE behind, causing more… you guessed it! Overwhelm. It’s a vicious cycle.
What do you do? There’s actually a gift hidden in that overwhelming feeling. Watch this video to see how to handle it when your garden explodes with life– without it overtaking your life!
GYOV CEO and Lifestyle Gardener Denise Beins is enjoying her flavorful fermented tomato sauce she made last summer. It’s a staple at her table, and her husband’s favorite. Perhaps it will become a favorite for you, too! 🙂
🎉 Just for Fun!
